Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is an extra layer of security that requires users to provide more than one form of authentication to access their account. This can include a password, security code, or biometric verification.

Enabling MFA for your Microsoft 365 account significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access, as it requires an additional form of authentication beyond just a password. This makes it harder for hackers to gain access to your account.
